JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Clean Up Crew / Mechanical Assistance role at Steven's Bay Area Diesel Service entails a multifaceted set of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of our diesel mechanics garage.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workspace by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of debris. Additionally, the role involves assisting mechanics with basic mechanical tasks such as parts cleaning, tool organization, and equipment maintenance.

This position requires a keen eye for detail to identify and address cleanliness and maintenance issues promptly. Furthermore, collaboration with other members of the team is essential to support the overall workflow of the garage. The Clean Up Crew / Mechanical Assistance plays a vital role in upholding our standards of excellence in service delivery and maintaining a conducive working environment for our team.

In addition to fulfilling the Clean Up Crew / Mechanical Assistance responsibilities, the team member will also undertake the crucial role of a Parts Runner, responsible for delivering and picking up essential parts necessary for repair and maintenance processes.

  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean DMV record.

  • Cleaning and maintenance: Proficiency in cleaning tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment.

  • Attention to detail: Ability to notice and address cleanliness and maintenance issues promptly.

  • Physical stamina: Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods.
